The OG Pitch Perfect Affiliate Checklist
Add clean URL to the product
Include affiliate network information: Amazon Associates, Impact, Skimlinks, Rakuten, etc.
Include line about potential to increase commissions for strong features
Mention samples available for consideration
Include links to features in other popular publications (always ones with more clout than the one you’re pitching)
Add search volume notes
Include an seo-like keywords into your pitch
Offer to include a link back to the feature from a brand’s press page. This may be attractive to an editor from an SEO perspective.

Creator Connections
Creator Connections is a promotional tool inside Amazon Associates that lets brands temporarily boost commission rates on specific SKUs to incentivize creators and publishers to promote those products. It's Amazon's version of performance-driven matchmaking between brands and influencers.
Amazon quietly rolled out CC in late 2022 as a way to give brands more control over which products creators promote. Traditionally, creators could link to any Amazon product, but it’s now flipped the script by allowing brands to say, “Here’s what we want to push, and we’ll pay more to get it featured.”
